To provide quality service, at Retirement in Spain, we work in an orderly manner from the beginning of our collaboration. Here is our process, from the first contact:
Step 1. Here is how we work
First, we will ask you to fill out a form in order to determine whether we are able to assist you, if your project is feasible, or if it cannot be realized.
Regardless of the outcome, we will always inform you with transparency and honesty, offering you alternative options. In this form, you will find details about our services and operations, as well as our pricing, etc.
Step 2. We get to know each other
Once we are sure we can help you and inform you that our service is suitable for your expectations, we offer you a phone/video call to get to know each other better before receiving you in Spain.
This call will allow us to know in depth what your needs are, your doubts regarding a real estate purchase in Spain, etc.
Also, we like to proceed this way because we consider that this type of exchange is more effective and human than communicating by email. If you are on site, in Spain, we can directly arrange a meeting and meet.
If after this meeting you want to take the plunge through our agency “Retirement in Spain”, we move on to formalizing our collaboration.
Step 3. PROPERTY SEARCH
We sign a search mandate in which we commit to finding your future property, within a minimum period of 1 month and a maximum of 3 months.
We do not want to waste your time by making you come to Spain several times. We therefore carry out a selection of properties that we visit before presenting them to you.
We take photos, videos, as well as a complete file on the properties that we think will best meet your needs and expectations.
To carry out this investigation, we ask our clients to provide an advance of 950 euros excluding VAT, which includes lawyer fees, who are responsible for the legal verification of the properties.
Step 4. PROPERTY VISITS
Once you have made your choice in our selection of properties, all you have to do is come on site to discover the chosen products. If you cannot travel, we can organize a live visit through a video call.
Our fees will vary depending on the type of property you buy. If it is a second-hand property, bank-owned property, our commission is 3% excluding VAT of the purchase price of the property (with a minimum commission of 4000 euros excluding VAT). If it is a new property, off-plan, the developer will pay our fees.
Tax advisor

- Subscription to water, electricity, internet, mobile package services in your name
